July/August 2010
Dear Friends,
You will notice this email is arriving late in July and I have been reflecting, organizing and brainstorming these last couple of weeks.
I have decided to send an abbreviated newsletter for July and August while I clarify the direction of my business.
Those who know me well understand I always have several balls in the air. A friend of mine once said, “Candess you run your business as if you have 12 employees!” I do have a creative mind and I do love to serve so I am just becoming more clear on how I would like to do this.
First, I want to thank you all for your votes and let you know I did not advance to Round 3 in the Hampton Roads Publishing contest for my book 12 Weeks to Self-Healing: Evolving Through Chronic Pain. Please do not think this is a negative for me. This book gave me so much already. After all, it gave me a doctorate! I waited to see what would happen with the publishing contract so I could make my next move. One door closes and another opens. . .
Some projects I am working on at this time:
1. Sending book proposals out for my book 12 Weeks to Self-Healing: Evolving Through Chronic Pain and re-writing the book. I am also thinking about making it an E-book. Although I am usually on the cutting edge of what is next, I do drag my feet on this one. I love holding the paper books in my hand, even though I do salivate when I see a Kindle or Ipad full of books.
2. Writing my book Less is More: Slowing down in an Over-stimulating World. I have a lot of energy writing this book and it is easy because it is basically what I am doing after pushing so hard to get my doctorate at the same time I was flying all over the world and making my Internet presence.
3. I have a new website www.candesscampbell.com. This site is local to the area where I live which is Spokane, Washington. It focuses on my private practice where I counsel clients, specializing in EMDR for PTSD. It also is a great place for me to showcase my upcoming books in my local community.
4. On both my websites I am creating a Smoking Cessation Program that will be free to everyone. It is to honor my mother who died at age 52 and my father who died at age 70, both of cancer directly related to smoking cigarettes. The program will include information on how to quit smoking and a hypnotherapy script that can be downloaded to your computer, phone or Ipod.
5. May 2010 I began teaching a Clairvoyance Class in Japan. I taught this class a few years ago and have decided to put it on the Internet so you can learn to develop your intuition and Clairvoyance. I am developing this now and I will let you know when it is complete. It will include audio and videos and can be bought one session at a time or the whole class at once.
6. In the next year I will be creating several hypnotherapy sessions that you can download. Please let me know what you would be most interested in.
Although there is more, I think this is enough for now.
Thanks for all your support in my writing and building my business!
Bless your heart,
Candess
Congratulations to Charles Lightwalker of Spokane, Washington for winning the free session for his vote for my book 12 Weeks to Self-Healing!
