This week I had an encounter with a young couple. When I expressed that I have spent much of my life helping the underdog, the response was “I doubt you ever worked with the underprivileged. You are white, a Cis and you drive a Mercedes.” I’m not going to tell my story here, but it really was a wake up call for me. I hid my gifts for many years after being on the front page of our local newspaper as a Witch. That is not my spiritual preference, but many in the community in which I worked (Chemical Dependency) avoided me. I went underground and began to work internationally where I was accepted and my gifts were revered. After about 10 years I “came out” as a Psychic and began sharing these gifts locally as well as working as a licensed mental health and chemical dependency counselor. Today in my blog I am sharing my home page. Yes, this is who I am and what I do. Everything else is surface. I hope I can connect with this young couple again. I don’t want my image to separate. I like building bridges and not walls.
When looking for physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, finding support that you resonate with is important. When I work with clients, I take a holistic approach. Look around and enjoy some of the valuable tools and videos I provide. As you can see, there are several services to choose from. You may be interested in counseling, coaching, having an intuitive reading, connecting with a loved one on the other side or having an energy clearing and healing.
Making a decision to enter counseling or coaching can be overwhelming. It is an important step. We all experience disruptive times in our lives where we need help in clarifying what to do next or to process feelings. You may decide that you just need some clarity and will decide to have intuitive readings instead. Doing this on a monthly basis has helped many of my clients stay focused and on their true path.
I am committed to providing you with a safe place to share and to make empowering decisions in your life.

My approach to healing is holistic. The experiences you have had in your life affect how you think, how you feel, and ultimately affect your health. My certification as a Reality Therapist under William Glasser gives me a cognitive/behavioral approach. This means that what we think affects what we do, how we feel and our physiology. My undergraduate work was in the study of Jungian psychology which focuses on symbology and dreams. It was Carl Jung who gave us the concept of the Collective Unconscious. I have also studied Medical Intuition with Caroline Myss. I use your chakra system as the format in which I organize information. I am also certified in EMDR and specialize in trauma.
Whether I am counseling, coaching, or reading intuitively, all of this experience comes together to assist you in your healing process.
I also offer DNA Activations. This is like a spiritual immune booster. You can also join in some of the audio workshops or remote workshops. Occasionally I will offer a class, in person and/or online. You can check my calendar for more information. I may be in your city to promote my books, so be sure to stay connected by signing up for my emails.

It’s great to learn a little more about you Candess and what you do to help others. I was horrified you were labelled a witch. What is this, the Middle Ages? I hope you can connect with the couple again.

I really want to sit and talk with them too! One of the reasons I was called a witch is that the agency I worked at came under attack by a disgruntled employee. One of our employees was pagan and identified herself as a witch. I love nature and spirituality. We are all One!
Susan Mary Malone says
Isn’t it amazing, Candess, that when we have beliefs that are out of our cultural mainstream, we’re immediately pegged as something negative. Being a witch is the main one. Which, if folks knew what that actually meant, wouldn’t be seen as negative! The term itself (before it got its negative connotation) was given to women healers–young and old.
I didn’t know of your background with Jungian psychology (of which I’m an avid student–especially of symbols and dreams!), or of your study with Caroline Myss (whom I just adore).
Would love to take one of your classes!

We have a lot in common Susan. I’ll let you know when I facilitate my next class. I studied Paganism and Women’s Spirituality a lot when I was doing my undergraduate work at Gonzaga University where I studied Psychology and Religious Studies. That was the time when the Apparitions of Mary were showing up at Medjugorje. What an incredible time that was! I loved expanding the consciousness of the priests that were open minded. Many Jesuits are.

It’s hard to be judged, it doesn’t matter what assumption it is that they make – it’s hard. I’m sorry that happened to you.
candesscampbell says
Thanks Cathy. I hoped that others would generalize to how we need to talk with each other and not make unfounded judgements.A dialogue with someone can change our view!

When I resonate with someone who comes into my life, I follow and trust my intuition whether to proceed or not. Not everyone is at that level of awareness and so often people lash out, at what they do not understand. So many people are stuck in a mindset that holds them back, but they somehow feel safe there, whether it is healthy for them or not. All any of us can do, is be who we are and trust we will attract the people who resonate with who we are, what we stand for and what we do. It is too bad that you and all of us, still see resistance to things (even like whether climate change is real or not) in our world. There is lots more work to do, lots more awareness to be shared, and lots more consciousness raising that needs to happen. Thanks for sharing all your talents and gifts, Candess, and it sounds like slowly and steadily you are making an impact in your community. Hopefully that young couple will come into your sphere again and you’ll be able to ‘meet’ them in a different way, when they are ready.
candesscampbell says
Thanks for “getting it” Beverley. Whether it is gender, race, money, religion, politics – we all live on this planet together and listening is important. It helps us understand how we affect others.
Joyce Hansen says
As a therapist, you have different tools in your toolbox. No one method is going to work for everyone. However, your toolbox is more expansive than most. Culturally, we are shifting from old dogma and methods to an enlightening concept of higher consciousness. Some fight it while others are looking to thrive. You’re here to help those who want to be helped in the way that works best for them.
candesscampbell says
Thanks Joyce. I’m grateful to live in a time where many Psychiatrists and Psychologists are studying and using these tools to help people. In a way we are combining ancient wisdom with current science and quantum physics!
Alene Geed says
It is easy to judge someone harshly when we don’t know all the facts, isn’t it? It sounds like your experience with this young couple encouraged you to come out into to the sunshine and show everyone your astonishing gifts. Early on I got counseling from a physic. She helped me to put many decisions into perspective..so I could ultimately make great choices
candesscampbell says
I hope that I meet them again. I’d like to be a weaver of stories and build trust! I love it when a psychic can help you gain perspective. One of the major shifts that came in my life was with a psychic.
Lorii Abela says
You are absolutely right, there are many choices out there as it seems like new age has been embraced by more people. I think you have a great gift that multitudes can benefit from. Keep on doing what you are good at and inspiring others to discover the purpose that they have.
candesscampbell says
Lorii thanks for your support and kind words!
