December Astrological Forecast

December 3, 2014 by @candesscampbell

“How did it get so late so soon?”

― Dr. Seuss

holiday

Provided by Lee of http://www.stillwatersastro.com

December 4th: Mars enters Aquarius.  The planet of action places its emphasis in the social  sign of Aquarius spicing up the holiday season within 3 weeks of  Hanukkah and Christmas. A harmonious “trine” aspect between Venus in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Leo also brings a spark of levity to lift the holiday spirits.

December 8th: Jupiter stations retrograde in Leo at 23 degrees.  Expansive Jupiter steps back after five months of direct motion in the regal sign of Leo. Jupiter will station direct in Leo in April 2015.

December 6th: Full Moon in Gemini/Sagittarius at 14 degrees. The final Full Moon of 2014 closely opposes Mercury in Sagittarius and squares Chiron in Pisces which is likely to create stress and tension in communications for a brief period.

December 10th: Venus enters Capricorn. Transiting Venus prepares the Cardinal soil of Capricorn for the arrival of a unique initiatory Winter Solstice on December 21st highlighted by the New Moon in Capricorn within a fraction of the 1st degree of Capricorn preceded by Uranus’ direct station within just 20 minutes of the Solstice.

December 15th: Uranus in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn at 12 deg 35 min. The continuing trials of the titans Uranus and Pluto meet once again for yet another transformational “square” aspect for the first time since last April’s Cardinal Grand Cross. Be prepared for more even more initiatory shifts in the weeks ahead.

December 21st: Winter Solstice/ New Moon in Capricorn & Uranus stations direct. The Winter Season officially begins as the Sun arrives in the sign of Capricorn at 3:03 pm PST. The Moon conjoins the Sun at 5:26 pm PST signifying new beginnings for those with chart angles or planets in the first 5 degrees of the sign of Capricorn.

December 23rd:  Saturn enters Sagittarius at 8:33 am PST.  Authoritarian Saturn completes 26 consecutive months in Scorpio to arrive in the intrepid fire sign of Sagittarius contributing to a noticeable collective shift from mid December 2014 through February 2015.

November 6th  Full Moon in Taurus/Scorpio at 14 deg 21 min. The Full Moon of November is graced by the companionship of Venus in Scorpio in a close conjunction with the Sun projecting onto the Moon only to realize that lasting beauty, love and substance will be discovered deep below the surface rather than in the eyes of its beholders.

November 8th  Mercury enters Scorpio. Transiting Mercury completes its tour in diplomatic Libra as it dives into the post election murky depths of Scorpio for the next 19 days.

November 15th  Neptune stations direct in Pisces. Transiting Neptune reengages in forward motion near 5 degrees in its native sign of Pisces after five months in retrograde.

November 16th  Venus enters Sagittarius. Venus serves as a hostess to pave the way for holiday festivities in the sign of Sagittarius before moving on to Capricorn in December where she will reside for the change of seasons during the remainder of 2014.

November 22nd  Sun enters Sagittarius/New Moon in Sagittarius. The Sun joins Venus in the ebullient sign of Sagittarius and within three hours the Moon conjoins the Sun producing November’s New Moon in Sagittarius at 4:32 am PST. Today’s New Moon is the second of five consecutive New Moons near zero degrees beginning with last month’s Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on October 23, 2014 and continuing through February 18, 2015 as the Sun enters Pisces.

November 24th  Chiron stations direct in Pisces. Chiron steps forward in the mystical sign of Pisces at 13 degrees on a mission of healing after 5 months of retracing its steps.

November 27th  Mercury enters Sagittarius. Mercury lends its fleet-footed speed to accelerate the tempo of the holiday festivities through November 16th. Mercury has journeyed in three separate signs during this month of November 2014.

October 2014 Astrological Forecast

October 1, 2014 by @candesscampbell

Astrology is assured of recognition from psychology, without further restrictions, because astrology represents the summation of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity.

 C.G. Jung

ray of light

Provided by Lee of http://www.stillwatersastro.com

October 4th: Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio.  The messenger planet reverses direction as it begins its third and final retrograde cycle of 2014 in the sign of Scorpio at 2 degrees for the next 3 weeks. October 8th: Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries/Libra.  The second of two Total Lunar Eclipses in 2014 mirrors the qualities of last April’s Total Lunar Eclipse in Libra/Aries.  2014 is an “initiatory” year of completions and new beginnings with a strong emphasis of planetary aspects in the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Those with cardinal angles or planets near 15 degrees in the signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn will  be more affected by this eclipse.

October 23rd: Partial Solar Eclipse New Moon in Scorpio.  The Sun, Moon, and Venus arrive in the sign of Scorpio on the same day to combine their energies within one half of a single degree of longitude in the very first degree of Scorpio at the exact time of a Partial Solar Eclipse in Scorpio. The synergy of the Sun, Moon, and Venus conjoining each other so closely in a Solar Eclipse is a very rare event that could produce fortunate new beginnings for those who consciously sow seeds of new commitments and intentions.

October 25th: Mercury stations direct in Libra.  Mercury steps forward in the relationship sign of Libra at 17 degrees after three weeks in retrograde. Mercury will partner with the Moon’s North Node in Libra to accent détente, fair play, and diplomacy versus hidden agendas during the November 4th elections in the United States. October 26th: Mars enters Capricorn. Transiting Mars arrives in the sign of institutional authority forming harmonious aspects to the Sun & Venus in Scorpio, and Neptune in Pisces which augurs well for a Happy Halloween.

July 2014 Astrological Forecast

July 1, 2014 by @candesscampbell

stillwaters_image-209x179

Stillwatersastro.com

July 1st: Mercury turns direct in Gemini.  A collective sigh of relief ushers in the second half of 2014 as Mercury steps forward after 23 days of retrograde in June. As if on queue, Mercury’s most recent retrograde period insisted that we take time to digest and integrate the effects of the spring season’s powerful transits.

July 12th: Full Moon in Capricorn/Cancer and Mercury enters Cancer.  The first Full Moon of the summer season in the northern hemisphere initiates the first of three consecutive Super Full Moons during July, August, and September.  A “Super Moon” is distinguished by its “perigee” or close proximity in orbiting the Earth.  Super Moons magnify the lunar effects of human emotions, seismic activity, and weather patterns.  Family traditions and transitions are also highlighted by this Full Moon in the Cancer cycle.  Mercury’s arrival in Cancer on July 12th further underscores the qualities of today’s Full Moon:  For every completion there will be a new beginning.

July 16th: Jupiter enters Leo.  For the first time in twelve years exuberant Jupiter returns to the sign of Leo where it will be the life of the party during the next year. Jupiter’s expansive nature can produce over extension in risks, socializing, and spending, so temper actions with wisdom.

July 18th: Venus enters Cancer.  Lady Venus arrives in the nurturing sign of Cancer lending her grace to help calm and sooth the peak events of this year’s solar cycle in Leo.

July 20th: Saturn stations direct in Scorpio. Saturn turns direct for the first time since March 2nd.  The planet of authority will complete the year in the sign of Sagittarius near the winter Solstice.

July 21st: Uranus stations retrograde in Aries.  Transiting Uranus steps back in Aries to continue its square dance with Pluto in Capricorn resulting in yet another transformational exact square between 12 and 13 degrees of longitude in the Cardinal Signs by mid December 2014.

July 22nd: Sun enters Leo.  The annual Leo solar cycle begins with a close conjunction to Jupiter in Leo for the first time in twelve years.  The Leo cycle represents a creative period each year characterized by r the arts, crafts, and music.

July 25th: Mars enters Scorpio.  Mars completes an eight month tour in the sign of Libra today including three months retrograde beginning on March 1st.  Mars will activate both Saturn in Scorpio and Uranus in Aries during the last two weeks of August. The alignments of these three planets during July and August could heighten international tensions.

July 26th: New Moon in Leo.  Thismonth’s New Moon in Leo closely conjoins with Jupiter in Leo during a rare rendezvous that is very fortunate for beginning new initiatives.

July 31st: Mercury enters Leo.  Fleet footed Mercury covers three signs in a single month: Gemini, Cancer, and Leo. Mercury arrives in Leo on the final day of July, and will partner with the Sun and Jupiter in Leo during the first eight days of August.

April’s Cardinal Cross: The Seasons of Our Lives In One Month

April 7, 2014 by @candesscampbell

Many people have been affected by the upcoming energy of the Grand Cross so I asked my astrologer to help us to understand what it means.

Enjoy this guest blog by Lee of Stillwaters Astro!             http://stillwatersastro.com/             –  Candess

Much has been discussed in recent months about the meaning and potential effects of April’s “Cardinal Grand Cross.”  Just what does it mean to experience the combined effects of four planets each playing its own role in one of the four Cardinal signs forming a very close alignment in the shape of a cross in the same month?

The four Cardinal signs of the Tropical Zodiac are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn that signify the beginning of the four seasons with the Sun’s annual arrival at zero degrees of longitude in each Cardinal sign. Cardinal signs can be described as “initiatory” corridors that usher in the official arrival of the Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter seasons each year.

Just as the seasons change with the arrival of Spring (birth), Summer (growth), Autumn (decline), and Winter (death), so do human lives in the course of each passing season and year.

Grand_Cross_by_CaptainJuu

The April 2014 Cardinal Grand Cross consists of a unique alignment of the planets Uranus in the sign of Aries, Jupiter in the sign of Cancer, Mars in the sign of Libra, and Pluto in the sign of Capricorn. These four planets form the symbol of a “Cross” within a single degree of an exact alignment that reaches its closest aspect during April 20th – 23rd.  This Cardinal Grand Cross is further distinguished by its placement near the midpoint of two eclipses during the final two weeks of April.

The combined effects of so much focused celestial energy compressed within two weeks indicates completions and new beginnings both globally and individually as we experience the energies of all four seasons within a single month.

Stillwaters Astrology – April 2014

April 5th: Venus enters Pisces.  The planet of beauty, love, and relationships joins Mercury, Chiron, and Neptune in the transcendent sign of Pisces bringing a welcome soothing quality to an otherwise intense month of April.

April 7th: Mercury enters Aries.  The planet of communications picks up its pace as it departs sensitive Pisces and enters the aggressive fire sign of Aries.  Mercury will receive an up close preview to report to us as it aspects the key Cardinal Grand Cross players of Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, and Mars from April 14th – 16th.  Those with planets or chart angles between 11 to 15 degrees in the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn will be most affected by April’s Cardinal Grand Cross.

April 14th: Pluto retrogrades in Capricorn.  The planet of transformation reverses direction on the eve of a Total Lunar Eclipse.  As Pluto steps backwards in Capricorn for the first time since April 2013 it partners with Mars already in retrograde during next week’s Cardinal Grand Cross while Jupiter and Uranus maintain their course in direct forward motion.

April 15th: Full Moon in Libra/Aries Total Lunar Eclipse.  Today’s Total Lunar Eclipse is analogous to the April 15th, 1995 Lunar Eclipse that preceded the catastrophic bombing of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma within four days on the morning of April 19th, 1995. Easter arrives this year on Sunday, April 20th, 2014, so it’s wise to be very conscious in activities with so many unpredictable collective dynamics during the second half of April.

April 19th: Sun enters Taurus. The Sun arrives in the earthy fixed sign of Taurus on the eve of Easter just in time to provide some ballast and grounding for the closest alignment of the initiatory Cardinal Grand Cross during the next four days.

April 23rd: Mercury enters Taurus. Just as the Cardinal Grand Cross completes its peak performance (including an exact 90 degree square aspect between Uranus and Pluto on April 21st), Mercury lends support to the Sun in Taurus by helping citizens of the global village return to terra firma and adjust to April’s celestial currents.

April 28th: New Moon in Taurus Solar Eclipse.  April concludes with a Solar Eclipse in the earth sign of Taurus. After the transformational events of the past four weeks we now arrive at an opportune time to sow seeds for new beginnings.
