February Astrological Forecast for Valentines!

February 2, 2016 by @candesscampbell

February is not only my birthday month, but it is also the month of Valentine’s Day! Here in addition to the February Astrological Forecast by Lee, I am sharing a part of a compatibility report I had Lee create for me between a man I was dating and myself. This gives you insight to how it can be helpful to have a report done and share to enhance communication. Whenever I date and when I go into a working relationship with someone, I have Lee run a report for me. It is not only helpful, it is fun! A gift of a Compatibility Report is a great idea for Valentine’s Day! (I am changing my friend’s name to Thomas for his privacy.)

Candess Campbell’s Sun in Aquarius and Thomas’s Sun in Pisces:

Both of you are very open-minded and tolerant toward new ideas, the unusual, and the unconventional. Candess Campbell, however, is much more cerebral than Thomas, who is essentially intuitive and emotional. While Candess Campbell is cool, rational, and always able to give excellent reasons for an opinion or position, Thomas is frequently unable to logically articulate the feeling, values and subtleties that color and shape personally-held attitudes or positions. Also, Thomas is a very sympathetic, compassionate person who feels the needs and pain of others very directly. Candess Campbell has a humanitarian outlook, but is often more concerned with principles and ideals, rather than with real people and their actual situations. Candess Campbell, in fact, is capable of considerable emotional detachment and objectivity, unlike Thomas, who is hopelessly subjective.

Okay, that is only my Sun Sign. I have a big heart too as you will see in the rest of my chart!  Isn’t that great! I love it. Here is Lee’s Astrological Forecast for February 2016!

February 8th   The New Moon in Aquarius at 6:39 am PST ushers in the Chinese New Year of the Monkey. On the heels of a static western January 1st Gregorian New Year calendar arrives the cyclical Chinese eastern calendar “New Year of the Monkey” illustrating that time is relative, and not all calendars are created equal in the global village.

February 13th   Mercury enters the sign of Aquarius at 2:43 pm PST. The planet Mercury returns to the sign of Aquarius for the second time this year after 36 consecutive days in the sign of Capricorn on the Eve of Valentine’s Day. Mercury will station retrograde four times this year on January 5th, April 28th, August 30th, and December 19th.

February 16th  Venus enters Aquarius at 8:17 pm PST: Venus joins the Sun and Mercury in Aquarius extending her respects to grace the celebration of the Chinese New Year.

February 18th  The Sun arrives in Pisces at 9:34 pm PST. The Sun joins Chiron and Neptune in the sign of Pisces forming harmonious aspects to the Moon in Cancer and Mars in Scorpio. The annual Pisces Solar cycle heightens spiritual experiences, dreams and intuitive healings with assistance from transiting Jupiter in Virgo to Chiron on Pisces.

February 22nd  Full Moon in Virgo/Pisces at 3 deg 34 min at 10:20 am PST. This year’s Full Moon in February highlights completions of ceremonial rituals and traditions such as the annual Mardi Gras that began with this February’s New Moon in Aquarius.

February 28th  The Sun conjoins Neptune in Pisces at 9 deg 30 min at 7:48 am PST. The Sun and Neptune merge in the sign of Pisces on what would otherwise be the final day of February, except for the fact that 2016 is a “leap year”. Consequently, the western calendar adds one more day in February every 4 years resulting in a 366 day year in 2016. The conjunction of the Sun and Neptune in the sign of Pisces provide a brief portal for heightened intuitive and spiritual connections.

Thanks to Lee of StillwatersAstro for this great report and all the support he has given me over the years!

January Astrological Forecast

January 6, 2016 by @candesscampbell

Spokane

January 1st: Mercury enters Aquarius at 6:20 pm PST. The planet Mercury arrives in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius on the first day of the 2016 New Year with a message of hope for unifying cultural, political, and religious divisions. A similar Aquarian theme of “We Came in Peace for All Mankind” was broadcast to Earth on July 21, 1969 by astronaut Neil Armstrong as he placed the first human footsteps on the surface of the Moon.

January 3rd: Mars enters Scorpio at 6:33am PST.  Fiery Mars plunges into the murky depths of the water sign of Scorpio through March 5th fueling an intense terse relationship between the elements of fire and water. Fortunately, Mars will enter the fire sign of Sagittarius on March 5th where the great warrior planet will be in a much more familiar arena.

January 5th: Mercury turns retrograde in Aquarius at 5:06 am PST.  Within just 4 days of Mercury’s arrival in Aquarius the agile messenger planet reverses its direction back to the sign of Capricorn on January 8th at 11:37 am PST. Mercury will remain in retrograde for the next 20 days providing a collective opportunity to slow down our activities and communications helping us determine what we value and want as we step forward in 2016.

January 7th: Jupiter turns retrograde in Virgo at 8:40 pm PST. The planet of far reaching journeys, higher education, justice, publishing & spirituality reverses its direction in the sign of Virgo  at 23 deg 14 min. Walt Disney was born with his Ascendant in the meticulous detailed sign of Virgo that led him to success with a favorite quote “The magic is in the details”.

January 9th: New Moon in Capricorn at 5:30 pm PST.  The first New Moon of the New Year initiates the 2016 Lunar Cycle.  Today’s New Moon receives support from a Venus/Saturn conjunction in the sign of Sagittarius to define values and establish structures for each individual or entity in the Global Village. Today’s New Moon in Capricorn presents an optimal opportunity to reaffirm any New Year resolutions.

January 20th: The Sun enters Aquarius at 7:28 am PST.  The Sun emerges from the stoic sign of Capricorn to embrace the broad vistas of the Aquarian sky for the next 29 days. The Chinese New Year is based on the arrival of the New Moon in the sign of Aquarius each year that will take place on February 8, 2016.

January 23rd: Venus enters Capricorn at 12:32 pm PST and Full Moon in Aquarius/Leo at 5:46 pm PST.  Lady Venus arrives in the earth sign of Capricorn just in time to help fine tune the frequencies & harmonics of today’s expansive Full Moon as it perfects at 3 deg29 min of longitude this evening with the Sun in Aquarius opposite the Moon in Leo. This is a good day to enjoy art, literature, music, and let your inner muse shine.

January 25th: Mercury turns direct in Capricorn at 1:50 pm PST. Fleet-footed Mercury steps forward for the second time this month in the sign of Capricorn at 14 deg 54 min of longitude providing us with an opportunity to retrace, revise, and revisit our agreements, communications, decisions, and plans as we implement our goals in 2016 with Many Happy Returns To All in the Year Ahead.

January 3rd:  Venus enters Aquarius at 6:48 am PST.  Venus partners with Mars in the fixed air Aquarius sign of friends, colleagues, and associates gracing the arrival of 2015.

January 4th:  Mercury enters Aquarius at 5:08 pm PST.  The messenger planet joins Venus and Mars in the spirit of Aquarian fellowship contributing to an expansive sense of compassion and goodwill in the midst of a transformational Full Moon in today’s “Cardinal Cross” aspect.

January 4th:  Full Moon in Cancer/Capricorn at 14 deg 31 min at 8:53 pm PST.  The first Full Moon of 2015 activates a brief “Cardinal Cross” aspect with Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, and the Moon’s Nodes in Libra/Aries. This aspect represents an initiatory echo from last April’s “Cardinal Cross” alignment that coincided with completions and new beginnings both collectively and personally during the Spring Season of 2014. By February 2015 the powerful transits of the past year will begin to fade.

ray of light

January 12th:  Mars enters Pisces at 2:21 am PST. The planet of action arrives in the mystical waters of Pisces reminding us to test the waters in making choices following any New Year resolutions we promised ourselves. Transiting Mars will enter its native sign of Aries on February 19th beginning a 40 day period for taking action after testing the waters of our resolutions.

January 20th:  Super New Moon in Aquarius at 5:14 am PST. The Sun and Moon merge in the early minutes of a single degree of longitude in the sign of Aquarius on January 20th resulting in a rare Aquarius New Moon double header event followed by a second Super New Moon in the final degree of Aquarius on February 18th ushering in the Chinese New Year.

January 21st:  Mercury stations retrograde in Aquarius at 7:54 am PST.  The first Mercury retrograde of 2015 is in the sign of Aquarius insisting that we consider the bigger picture of how we as individuals fit into the collective community of the global village. Mercury will station direct at 1 degree in Aquarius on February 11th.

January 27th:  Venus enters Pisces. Lady Venus completes Her New Year visit in Aquarius to serve as a muse with Mars, Chiron, and Neptune in Pisces through February 19th.
