Meeting Saint Germaine
Today is the Ascension Day of St. Germaine who is one of the Lords of Karma that guides my life and my work. I feel his presence around me often and I am comforted by him, as well as receive his creative guidance. This is a great day to share my story.
Saint Germain is Chohan of the Seventh Ray, the violet ray, of freedom, alchemy, justice, mercy and transmutation. He comes bearing the gift of the violet flame for world change. He tutors and initiates souls in mastery of the seat-of-the-soul chakra, preparing them to receive the Holy Spirit’s gifts of prophecy and the working of miracles.
Ascended Master Saint Germaine is now known as “The God of Freedom” for the Earth and, since May 1, 1954, the Hierarch for the “Dawning Golden Age” in this current Aquarian Age cycle. Today is the day that St. Germaine Ascended.
When I was 14 years old I was what was referred to back then as a “Jesus Freak.” If you research the movement you will get a lot of different views, but for me it was amazing. There was a coffee house in downtown Spokane called the “I AM Coffeehouse.” I hitchhiked downtown from the north side of Spokane to hang out and pass out the newspapers called “The Truth.” We shared the message, which was called Witnessing. Today if someone did this, it would annoy me, but this was the late 1960s and early 1970s and a totally different time. Below is a photo from that time with my then boyfriend Bernie.
On January 1, 1970 my family was visiting my aunt, uncle, and cousins who lived near Shadle Park. From their house I decided to take the bus downtown to “witness.” I walked to the bus stop at Alberta and Rowan and waited. A man pulled up in a baby blue pickup truck and asked me if I wanted a ride. I thought to myself, “Jesus will protect me,” so I got in.
I noticed he was taking me somewhere other than downtown. I began to panic and I could hardly breathe. I put my hand on the door handle, contemplating my next move. The truck turned left and I quickly opened the door and either jumped or flew out – or both.
The next thing I remember, I awakened to bright lights overhead. My eyes focused and I saw my dad and mom standing over me, their faces gray and drained. I was at Holy Family Hospital. I had been in a coma for two weeks.
I was told I had a contusion and a Catholic priest (my dad’s faith) had been called and he administered last rights. What happened for me, though, was that I experienced floating upward and going towards a light. There was a Being near the light (who now I know to be Saint Germaine) who said to me, “You are not done yet, you have to go back.”
Years later, with the help of my dear friend, the late Dr. Gilbert Milner, I was able to piece together the memories and sensations of this experience. Gil was a psychiatrist, shaman, cave diver, acupuncturist and hypnotherapist and – through hypnotherapy – he guided me to relive the experience of the accident.
This trauma resulted in brain damage (my term) and I had to relearn to coordinate my body. During the time that my brain was healing, I could not think well and therefore accessed the intuitive part of me in order to survive. This experience catapulted my psychic abilities and somehow left an opening for me to access the world beyond the physical.
Since I was a little girl I often reached out for the Spirit world as a safe haven. Although I adored my dad and he was my main nurturer, he was alcoholic and when he drank I didn’t feel safe. I began to “connect upward” rather than to trust those in physical bodies. I enjoyed a sense of belonging with God and the Angels and today I work closely with and am guided by a group of Ascended Masters called the Lords of Karma.

Today I assist others in connecting with their guides and their loved ones on the other side. I also facilitate a Karmic Clearing workshop with the Lords of Karma called Essential Energy Balancing. This workshop clears karma and connects you with your Higher Self, Essence Self, Goddess/God Self and Goddess/God.
On this celebratory day – Allow yourself the freedom to move into giving and receiving Love.
Seven Steps to Intuitive Healing
Don’t try to comprehend with your mind. Your minds are very limited.
Use your intuition.
Madeleine L’Engle, A Wrinkle in Time
When you hear the words intuitive healing, what comes to mind? Many people are searching today for information, healing, and guidance. As an intuitive healer and reader, I enjoy helping my clients by giving them quick information to help them make decisions and solve problems. My focus is empowering others and I also love to guide them to use their own intuitive abilities.
Intuitive healing can happen on many levels. You can receive a healing on a spiritual, mental, emotional or physical level. These levels are all related, but illness begins in the etheric field (the energetic field around the body) before it happens on the physical level. Therefore it is important to take steps to heal on all levels.
Intuitive healing has a deep connection to the heart. You have a gentle, loving voice inside that guides you. This voice is a quiet voice and does not fight with or try to overcome the voice of the ego or the other voices within. Often we carry within a voice of a parent or authority figure. In psychology this is called an interject. It is important to discern between the voice that is coming from your intuition and the others.
Some refer to this inner voice as their Higher Self, their Guardian Angel, their Internal Coach or many other names. Whatever you call it is fine. Just know you are a reflection of the Divine and this voice is your connection to your own Divine Light. This Intuitive Voice is quiet and it guides you in many ways. It can also work with your intellectual or analytic mind when you are able to calm the constant mind chatter. The Intuitive Voice has access to Oneness and when you learn to hear and understand, you will begin to feel peace.
There are several ways to begin to hear your Intuitive Voice and to heal yourself on many levels.
Step 1. Be Still
Take time several times a day to stop and close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Scan your body from the top of your head down to your toes and just notice. Pay attention to any sensations and just notice. Be present in your body. Your body feels safe and you heal when you are consciously present in your body.
Step 2. Allow Yourself to Fall into Trance
You have a natural ability to heal and come into balance when you allow yourself to fall into trance. Just as when you dream, you have “ultradian rhythms” while you are awake. You may notice yourself falling into trance when you are at a stop sign or when you are washing dishes. This daydreaming or spacing out regulates your mind and body and allows you to access your Intuitive Voice without effort. Honor the natural rhythm of your body. This is a vital part of self-healing.

Step 3. Notice Your Beliefs and Self-talk
Your beliefs are attitudes, viewpoints, ideas, thoughts, values, perceptions and more. They are not the truth, but how you organize your view to make sense of the world and give it meaning. Notice your beliefs and what beliefs hold you back from having your desired life. Notice your self-talk. When your self-talk and beliefs are negative your whole mind/body/spirit responds with a loss of energy and you attract to yourself negative life experiences. You can increase positive beliefs and self-talk and allow yourself to be more open to hearing your Intuitive Voice and receiving healing on all levels.
Step 4. Listen with Your Body
Your body is an incredible intuitive receiver. In order to heal fully and receive intuitive messages, you need to be awareness of and listen within. Your intuition can come through images, dreams, sounds, gut feelings, a sense of knowing, hearing or sensing. In the beginning, it is common to receive messages through your gut feeling. Once this happens ask yourself “what does this mean?” You may or may not get an answer, but it is important to use your gut as a tool. If you begin to do something and your gut alerts you, know it has to do with what you were doing or thinking. Last week I was going to go downtown Spokane and have dinner, a movie and listen to a friend play music. As I began to get ready I felt a sense of alertness and I heard a voice inside my head saying the word “alarm!” I had no idea what was happening, but the sense of alarm would not stop. Having had many experiences with my intuition, I knew to listen. I made the decision to stay home that night and the alarm ceased. Now, I could try to guess at what might have happened, but instead, I just affirmed myself for listening and went on. The more you listen to your Intuitive Voice, the more it shows up for you and the easier it is to hear.
Step 5: Access Your Self-Healing Energy
We all have subtle energy around us and we can use this energy to heal. Have you ever stubbed your toe and noticed when you put your hand on your toe it felt better. When you have been in pain has the healing touch of a loved one made a difference. You have this natural healing energy within you and you are a powerful healer. Tap into your body’s subtle energy and feel the energy in your hands when you put them on a loved one. You are surrounded by a colorful energy field that comes from the chakras in the center of your body. Take a moment to rub your hands together and then put them together palm to palm. Pull them away from each other gently and feel the powerful energy you have in your hands. This is your healing energy. The more you use it, the stronger it becomes.
Step 6: Practice Accessing Your Intuition
The best ways to access your intuition are through Meditation and through Viewing. With meditation you are able to quiet your mind and allow your Intuitive Voice to come through. This can happen either during the meditation or you can journal for a few minutes afterward and just let your intuition come through. Another way is to View. Viewing can be by being in your heart or the center of your head and imaging a white screen. On the screen allow yourself to see images and when they appear you can ask what they mean and just receive. You can also use Remote Viewing where you close your eyes and you can move through time and space. You can go into the past, the present or into the future. With remote viewing you can see someone at a great distance. This is often used by medical intuitives to help diagnose illness.
Step 7: Listen to Your Dreams
Your dreams are the place of Intuition. You receive symbolic images, messages and gain ideas and receive answers to your questions. You have access to the whole collective unconscious. Whether you remember them or not, you have between seven to nine dreams per night. This is during the REM state, where you have access to information and healing you cannot access in the daytime. Your dreams are a way that your Intuitive Self communicates with you! When you begin to honor your dreams and listen, they will show up for you more fully and guide you. There are many guides to dream work, and what I recommend is Realities of the Dreaming Mind by Sivananda Swami Radha (2004). It is helpful to have paper and pen by your bed to collect your dreams as soon as you awake. They tend to fly away until you train yourself to catch them.
These seven steps can help you to be guided by your Intuitive Voice and create healing on all levels of your being. You cannot increase your intuition with your mind, but can access it through your heart. You must allow it to happen through ongoing gentle practice. Use the tools daily and validate your experience of Intuitive Healing.

The Vampire Archetype!
The creativity of your subconscious mind not only shows up in dreams, but also shows up as archetypes in your life. Archetypes are overlying patterns that show up in all cultures that are seeded in the psyche. Some examples of archetypes are mother, judge, teacher and healer. When you begin to look at these patterns in your life, you can unleash your creative energy.
[clickToTweet tweet=”Who are the Vampires in your Life?” quote=”With Halloween around the corner and an expectation of ghosts and goblins knocking at my door – I thought this would be a great time to share about the Vampire Archetype!”]
Many cultures are intrigued and fascinated with vampires. Vampires were mythological figures that lived off the essence of others by drinking their blood.
Honestly, they give me the creeps, but the adrenaline rush others get from the scariness of blood and gore may be part of the attraction. There is a seductive nature to the vampire as well.
A person with the Vampire Archetype tends to live off of the energy essence of others. Have you ever felt drained by someone you worked with, even if they didn’t talk much? Do you have people in your life that seem to steal your energy? Do you have friends that exhaust you just by being with them?
Maybe you have the Vampire Archetype. After spending time with someone, do you feel energized and then you notice they look like all the blood drained from their face. Do you find others avoid you? Do you come off as clingy or needy? Are you continually looking to others for validation or to make you feel better?
Historically, in many dramas, real or written, the Vampire Archetype has been featured in many male and female relationships. In these cases, there is eroticism between the vampire and his conquest. The female is repelled by the vampire, but also drawn into the sexual nature of the submissiveness. In this case, the male overpowers the female, taking her energy for himself. Today, this archetype may be underlying many domestic abuse situations.

Currently, people are more aware of the energy around their body, of energy exchange, and how they feel when they are around others. A woman with a Vampire Archetype may come off as loving and helpful, but when she leaves, you may feel like she took a piece of you with her. She may continually ask you for more than you can give or do. She may complain constantly. Maybe you have had a relationship with a man and ended it and he won’t leave. He may continue to cling to you or even stalk you. The codependent relationship may fit into this category.
[clickToTweet tweet=”Do you have people in your life that seem to steal your energy?” quote=”Do you have people in your life that seem to steal your energy?”]
Rather than vampires looking gory and dressing in black and gray with blood dripping down, today they look like anyone else in your life. Much of my work for the last 25 years has been around energy and energy medicine. As an intuitive reader I look into the aura and the chakras of my clients and can see where they are losing power, where they are either giving their power away or being attacked.
When someone attaches to you or hits you energetically, you are drained, depressed and sometimes somewhat paralyzed. When you are managing your own energy within yourself and not enmeshed with others, not trying to control others or attaching to others, you feel good!
Previously, I psychically read a woman who had been attacked by another woman who was envious of her. She experienced being hit energetically. When this happened, she felt slimed. As soon as she identified this feeling, I was able to look at her energetically and see who hit her and why. I cleared her energy field right away and put up protection so this could not continue to happen. The person who attacked her has the Vampire Archetype. With further investigation, I understood the language the attacker continually uses is one of lack. She has a scarcity perception. She attaches to others and attacks others, for their life force, rather than understanding that she can fill herself up from within. Instead of being grateful, she focuses on what others have, turns green with envy and becomes toxic. Instead of being full of self-love and loving others, she is continually full of judgment and fear. Although she presents herself as being knowledgeable, slyly her toxicity affects everyone around her.
What do you do if you have a person like this in your life? You can learn to ground yourself and run your own energy (earth and cosmic) and set up protection. I have many meditation tools and videos you can access to do this on my website. You can focus in your heart and bring your attention up out of your crown chakra at the top of your head. See the person there and for three seconds see them receiving a ball of golden white Light, of Love from the Universe. Then let them go. Do this as often as you need to release them from your thoughts. It will be up to the person as to whether they will receive this clearing or not. You though, have in part cleared yourself from their negativity and their energy.
What if you have the Vampire Archetype? You can balance yourself by giving to others without expectation. First, keep your energy clear with the same meditation tools and videos I mentioned above and allow yourself to receive in ways that give you a sense of personal power and self-worth. You can volunteer or help out those around you. Find a counselor or life coach to help you heal the past so that you can be healthy in the present.
If you’re not consciously aware of your energy and how the Vampire archetype is affecting you, you may notice the vampire showing up in your dreams. You may dream you have an encounter with a person or an entity that drains you. You may be paralyzed or even gorier, lose blood. Whether the vampire image in the dream is fictional or someone you know, the vampire sneaks up and suddenly has taken your life force.
Dreams can be scary even though they are coming as a message from your Higher Self. Taking time to work with dreams can be empowering and guide you to take action in your life. If you want to explore your dreams, the book I recommend is Realities of the Dreaming Mind: The Practice of Dream Yoga by Swami Sivananda Radha.
By understanding and working with the Vampire Archetype, you will learn to protect yourself, or if it is your archetype to heal yourself and access your natural path of health and move toward your Divine Soul purpose.
Here is your chance to leave feedback about your experiences of people who have shown up as Vampires in your life! I will be happy to share with you some tools to protect yourself from being attached and losing energy!

Guest Blog – DNA Activation
Working with the Lords of Karma has been a ministry for me for many years now. This beautiful email from Dana is a blessing and a testament to why I do this service. Thanks to all who resonate with the Lords of Karma and shifting with the planet into a Higher Vibration.
DNA Activation
March 24th 2011
I wanted to write you an email to tell you about my progress after my DNA Activation session with you and the Lords of Karma. I have had a steady increase in vibrational frequency from the base physical all the way through to the spiritual. I know this because several areas of my life have changed dramatically. Beginning with meditation, not only has my meditation deepened (distractions are not nearly as dominant as they used to be) but I have noticed a significant increase in intuition and awareness of the higher dimensions (Spirit Realms). I have had physical confirmation of this in the form of heat, tingling, and vibrations in my pineal gland and all over body, physically feeling my Third Eye open, as well as the feeling of joy and love that is indescribable. I understand this to be contact with my Spirit Guides and my Higher Self and most importantly, God. The Lord is in all of us and I have always known this but I have never had such an overwhelming physical/Spiritual sensation to it before. This has brought about a deeper understanding of “Connectedness” for me. “Separation” truly is one of the greatest lies to humankind.
Physically I have noticed a change in my diet. I have always drunk a lot of water. I’m not much of a soda person or other such drinks. But now, I am almost unable to drink a soda at all. I am able to drink a few sips and then I have to throw it out. I just can’t manage to drink any more of it. A glass of water is constantly at my side. Equally I have noticed a desire for Natural Tea instead of Coffee. I have also noticed a huge decrease in cravings for meat and processed foods coupled with a huge increase in cravings for fresh vegetables. I have never been one to eat healthy before and every time I’ve tried, I’ve failed miserably. This will be the first times in my life that I actually choose to eat the salad versus the frozen burrito!
On a regular basis I desire to go outside in my back yard to be in the fresh air rather than stay indoors. This probably doesn’t sound very significant however; I have been a computer geek for over 20 years (professionally and otherwise). I have never before desired to be away from my computer for more than the time it takes to use the restroom or grab a sandwich. Now I’m sitting here and wondering how long it’s going to take me to type this up so I can go sit on my back porch and drink my cup of Tea that’s sitting here getting colder by the minute. (I can’t wait for summer!!) The local parks are going to see me for the first time come the first sunny day over 55 degrees F.
Probably one of the most important changes for me has been the inability to tolerate “untruth” in any fashion. I don’t want to use the word “Lies” because that’s not truly what I mean. An example, while talking to my mother on the phone, she made a comment that has always been a popular opinion of society and for the most part, acceptable (in truth it is negative thinking instead of positive). I usually can keep my mouth shut, just accept that it is just the way she has been taught, and let it go after a short and well “disguised” positive rebuttal. Apparently that isn’t good enough for me anymore. We didn’t fight, but I also didn’t steer away from the conversation until I had explained that changing the way we think about things is critical to changing the way our world works. Positive reinforcement over negative verbal attacks will always bring about positive change in any situation no matter the circumstance. “We create our own reality by what we choose to ‘believe’ and subsequently say, do, and think”. She seemed to understand but was a bit blindsided by my fervor. She loves me anyway and I’m thankful every day for my mother!
Apart of the most important changes I have experienced has to be my ability to “Let it go”. I now understand what it means to give up the illusion of control and no longer worry about the lives of anyone else (including my children). Don’t get me wrong, I love them and will always desire happiness and well-being for them. But I no longer am deceiving myself into thinking that I have the right (or ability) to judge or attempt to manipulate them into living differently based on what I would like for them. They are responsible for themselves and their own lives and reality. What they are living has been created by them, as it is for each human being on this planet. Instead of calling them on the phone and attempting to ‘talk’ them into different choices or living patterns, or running to their rescue when they ‘choose’ themselves into a bind, I now meditate and send them Divine Love, Joy, Peace, Knowledge, Truth, and Wisdom their way. I don’t need to say a word to them. Just continue to meditate creating a positive reality for myself and sending them the most positive and highest vibrational Divine Energy I can. The Lord will work out the rest. And surprisingly, I’m not a basket case!?!
I know this email is a bit long but I wanted to you know how much the DNA Activation session has allowed true change in my life. There are several other areas I could write about (increased creativity, energy to do housework, true intuitive communication with my Spirit Guides, etc.) but I just can’t wait to get outside and watch the sunrise.
Please feel free to share this email on your website. I really enjoyed reading the testimonials there and I would be honored if you felt led to share this one as well.
Many blessings to you,
Dana M. Awatta

Clairaudience is “Clear Hearing”
One of the four ways to develop your Intuition is Clairaudience. This is when you hear information. According to Doreen Virtue, these voices can be from different sources. When you hear information, ask who is talking to you. Information from God/Divine Spirit is loud and to the point. It is friendly, casual and with modern language. Archangels are also loud and to the point, but are more formal and direct. They often talk about getting on track with your goals and not being fearful or doubting yourself. Angels are also formal and direct.
When you talk with a deceased loved ones, they sound the way they did when they were physically alive. I am blessed to communicate with my family who passed over often. I remember when my granddaughter Noel was young and I was thinking, “I wish my mom could see her.” Then I heard her say that she was here and could see her all the time. She went on to share how special she thought Noel was. It was amazing and comforting.
Your Higher Self sounds like your own voice and is supportive and loving. Your ego comes across as abusive, discouraging, paranoid and depressing. When I ask a question and am not sure if it is my ego or not, I ask, then I bring my attention up out of my crown chakra at the top of my head up into the heavens and ask again. I can usually discern between my Higher Self and my Ego.
Become aware of the voices you hear. Relax and don’t analyze. Just listen and start to identify your Higher Self from your Ego. Make notes in your journal and trust yourSelf.
