Does Your Psychic Tell you Everything?

July 25, 2017 by @candesscampbell

When I was first in training to develop my psychic abilities I was so excited to learn. I practiced with a friend who also took the classes. She was a nurse and I was a mental health counselor so I could see that her filter was physical and mine mental and emotional. We each had our strong suits, but we read the way we were taught.

[clickToTweet tweet=”Clarify a Decision with a Psychic Reading! http://bit.ly/2hGeB1D” quote=”Connect with a Loved One with a Psychic Reading!”]

One tool we learned was how to see how “programmable” a person was. That was important. Some people take everything they hear and act on it without consulting their own inner guidance. I think it may have been Sylvia Brown who said that a good psychic is about 80 – 85 % accurate. I’m grateful that I get a lot of positive feedback from clients regarding my readings. Nevertheless, I always tell clients and friends to listen to yourself over any psychic, including me.

On a radio show where I was a guest, a young man called in who was entering into the military. The image I saw was that he would be in danger and may not come home. It was a split second decision I made to offer him to talk with me in private. I shared some positive information about him on the radio show and avoided talking about the blasts I saw all around him. In private I was able to read the situation and clear some contracts and curses that increased his ability to be safe.

Another situation was when I was teaching a Reiki class. One of my friends was taking the class and when I worked on her and showed the class how to get psychic information as they worked, I saw her body was full of cancer. Later, when we were in private I asked her if she was interested in what I saw. After telling her I saw cancer, she looked at me in shock, told me I was wrong and her denial about her situation was ignored. A few months later she joined the angels. Although I wondered if telling her were the right decision or not, my knowing she was full of cancer allowed me to be with her, comfort her and be healing in her life.

More recently a friend asked me to see if I could get any information on her lost dog. I thought about this, being a dog owner myself. It was a difficult choice to share or not. In this case, I saw the dog was safe and told her so. The images I got other than knowing the dog was safe was not necessary to share. It could have caused more confusion and pain.

You can see that being told everything the psychic sees can be confusing and overwhelming. I think that is the value of having over 30 years experience as a counselor. I like to focus on what with support the client and remove that which creates pain and suffering.

What clients generally receive from readings can differ, but listed below are some of the ways they benefit.

  1. Validation

Most often when I do a reading with a client they feel validated. They may come with a sense to the answer to their question. Having a psychic validate what they already know can be invaluable. It allows them to stop rehearsing the question in their mind, and relax and go on. And, it feels great!

  1. Peace of Mind

When a client gets a reading and finds out the “why” of a situation, it can bring peace. Whether the issue has to do with a past life or a spiritual contact, it is helpful to understand why a job or relationship plays out the way it does. So often it gives my client permission to accept what is happening and to understand they are not responsible. All of us have contracts to complete.

  1. Clarity

So often we need clarity. We get caught up in our view and stuck in our resistance and some clarity can be really helpful. The chakras that I read are full of information. Whatever is coming up for you is related to one of your chakras being out of balance. I use muscle testing to see which chakra and go about clearing, reading and answering your questions. I can attest to how important this is, as I also use a psychic friend to assist me when I need help.

  1. Connection with a Loved One

What I love the most is seeing a client open their heart when I connect with their loved one who has passed over. When they see me connect to their loved one and they feel them in their heart, it is amazing. Not everyone who has passed over has been loving and kind. Helping a client understand what happened and why can be a powerful healing. When I connect with their person, it is a shared experience between myself and the client – seeing, knowing and feeling the person that they lost.

Interested in a reading?

If this is your first, I suggest a 30 minute reading.

Less is More!

May 17, 2017 by @candesscampbell

Have you ever noticed that after clearing off your desk or cleaning out your purse or briefcase, you feel a lot more organized? Do you notice that you think more clearly? It is true that your inner mind reflects your outer environment, and your external environment affects your mind. Feng Shui experts teach about the flow of energy and how the placement of objects can affect your life and your health. The chi, or life force, gets stuck, and it can create an imbalance or even illness.

Previously, when my former husband and I were looking to buy a home, our vision was a country home near a source of water. One home we looked at was sitting in a narrow valley between two mountains nearby. When I looked at the placement of the house, I thought energy would get stuck between the two mountains and whoever lived in that house would most likely get sick. I asked the realtor why the couple was selling. He shared with us that both people who lived there were ill and had to move closer to their children. It is important that energy be able to flow and not become stagnant. Sometimes, clutter can stop the movement of energy as well.

[clickToTweet tweet=”Free up your time with Less is More!” quote=”Free up your time with Less is More!”]

Have you ever found out that you bought two or more of the same book, forgetting you already bought it, yet never reading it? Do you have several of the same items or many items that you don’t use? Does the clutter make it difficult to find anything? How about technology? Do you know how to use all the features of your camera, smartphone and computer? Are you so overwhelmed with your electronic toys that you can’t remember how to use them? Maybe you can’t even find them!

The concept of “less is more” does not only mean using what you have, but also learning to live within your means! When you make purchases, focus on quality, not quantity. Use what you have before you buy something new.

Now is the time to make the commitment to clear your space. Notice what you use easily, without effort and regularly. A good rule of thumb is if you don’t use it or love it, give it away or sell it. You can begin by going through your home, room-by-room, and finding three items each day that you really don’t use or need. Create two piles, one “give away” pile and one “sell” pile. If the object is not worth much, you can save money and time by just giving it away to a charity. If you have a business, you can even write the donation amount off on your taxes.

Opportunity

1. Stop right now and set your kitchen timer or watch for 15 minutes. Pick an area of your house that needs some organization. Choose a drawer, bookshelf or even the kitchen table. Chose something that is manageable in a short amount of time. Organize and come back.

That felt great, didn’t it? When you take a 15 or 20-minute time interval, it makes organizing manageable, and the reward is great.

2. Sit and visualize your home. List in your journal the areas you need to clear out. Assign an order to the list and make a commitment to begin the clearing. Start with small areas so you feel successful. Next, pick an area where you feel the most overwhelmed by clutter. Break it down into smaller areas. It can be helpful to have paper bags or plastic containers to put items in that will take longer, such as paperwork or items you might find in a junk drawer. Clear the area, using one bag or container at a time, and either put the things away, give them away or add them to the “sale” pile.

Hint: When organizing paperwork, you can bring the bag into the living room and go through it when you are watching TV, listening to music or at the kitchen table when you are talking with your loved ones.

3. If the idea of touching the mess or moving anything is too much for you, take your journal and use these Soul Stems:

I am most overwhelmed when . . .
I feel secure when . . .
If I were organized, I’d be . . .
A simple step I can make today is . . .

4. Call a friend or a family member who can come over and be with you when you organize. This shared energy, even if they don’t help, makes the task seem easier.

5. Set up a family or neighborhood yard sale. As you do this, you will find it easier and easier to let go of items you don’t use. Allow someone to be your muse for organization.
And last, and maybe the best for you, hire a home organizer or even a housekeeper to help you begin this process. It will be well worth the money spent.

Connecting with your Guides – Mother Mary and Mother’s Day!

May 9, 2017 by @candesscampbell

In continuing with the Lords of Karma and Connecting with your Guides, with Mother’s Day ahead, let’s focus on Mother Mary and another way of connecting with your guides. When you want to connect with Mary, you can grab your journal and write her a letter. Sit quietly and think about how you may engage with her in your life and then begin. Tell her what is happening in your life at this time and involve her in your journey. Ask questions, for support or tell her how powerfully she has impacted your life. I often ask Mother Mary to intercede when I am aware of a situation that is difficult and where someone needs help.

The Ascended Masters Lords of Karma are a group of spiritually enlightened beings, once mere mortals, who have undergone a process of spiritual transformation. They gained mastery over the limitations of the matter planes (state of consciousness that transcends the known physical universe), balanced at least 51% of negative Karma and fulfilled their Dharma or divine plan. An Ascended Master has become God-like and a source of unconditional Divine Love to all life, and through Ascension (spiritual enlightenment) has united with his or her own “God-Self”, the I AM Presence. They serve as teachers of mankind from the realms of Spirit and stand ready to assist them in their Ascension.

Mary

What you see through raised consciousness is the image of The Master Lady Mary, Mother of Jesus. Serving as the Motherly Source of Life on Earth, she bestows the energies of intuitive wisdom upon those females who aspire to leadership within the community and in world affairs and gives them courage to establish themselves securely in society.

One will find that The Master Lady Mary’s presence is with every pregnancy and birthing, regardless of circumstances. All Mother’s-to-be and mothers everywhere come under Her comforting and understanding ray of blessedness, no matter what their religious beliefs may be.

It is Mary who is also willing to help Humankind, as a whole, make a stronger connectedness with Nature’s elementals, stimulating the possibility of future co-existence, which could greatly benefit all life on Earth.  With Motherly Love She cradles the Spirit of the Child-self within you.

Motherhood has its delights and challenges. Embrace Mother Mary and allow her to be a salve on your many scratches, bumps and mis-steps during this sacred process of launching a child into the world!

Who Has your Back?

May 3, 2017 by @candesscampbell

When watching TV I heard “I never knew what it felt like for someone to have my back.” Now, I have heard the phrases “have your back” and “have my back” a lot recently, but the way she said it stirred up some thoughts for me. Whose back do I have and who has my back?

Friends and family are very important, but as much as we wished friends and family would be there for us in a crisis, are they truly there? Are you there for your friends and your family?

In my practice as a mental health counselor, intuitive coach and psychic medium, I often talk with clients about two situations in their life. One is asking for what they need and the other is about setting boundaries. I will discuss boundaries in a later writing.

Healthy relationships are relationships where there is a healthy exchange of energy. When one person does it all, carries all the weight, eventually this person will become resentful or lose their power and become ill.

When one takes and takes without giving back, eventually people around them either leave the relationship or the one who takes without giving back ends up suffering from low self-esteem. This could be masked by an arrogant or narcissistic attitude, but nevertheless, when they are alone, they do not feel good about themselves. They begin to focus externally on what they own, what they have and what they do. Then somehow who they are gets lost.

This spring as you get out more, think about your relationships and whether they are balanced or not. William Glasser says we all have four basic needs. They are for Power and Worth, Love and Belonging, Freedom and Fun. Take some time to write out a list of your friends and your family. Next to each name write out on a scale from one to ten with ten being the most fulfilled, how much does this relationship satisfy your need for Power and Worth, Love and Belonging, Freedom and Fun?

You may even want to talk with your loved ones and see how much you satisfy their needs in this area as well. Is it possible that you spend most of your time talking and complaining and not listening to them at all?

When you are involved in a healthy relationship you can ask for what you need from the other person. If they are not able to meet this need, they can say so and you are free to get your need met elsewhere. You are able to depend on them to be there for you when they can. At times friends and family choose to do things they do not want to do because they love you and support you. It is essential they can also say no when they do not want to do what you ask.

Walking the Spokane River with Cheyenne!

It is common for women in particular to do what they don’t want to do because they are afraid of losing a friend or lover. And it is true this may happen. But if this is the case, it is important to re-evaluate the relationship. Is fear the motivating factor in your relationship?

This issue is important to me at this time in my life. As I look back over the last few years, I realize that my push to get my doctorate, publish my books and carry on a full-time private practice, left me depleted and I had very little time or energy for my friends. I realized how important self-care is not only to me, but my commitment to take care of myself affects my friends as well.

Do you have a friend in your life that takes on too much, is always pushing the envelope, or living within the margins as I wrote in an earlier blog. Could this be the way you are living your life?

Evaluate your friendships and family relationships and see what you can do to move them into balance. If you give too much, allow yourself to pull back and give to yourself, time and space. If you find you have been selfish and not given to friends at all, allow yourself to “get out of yourself” and give to those you love.

Enjoy journaling! A few Soul Stems to play with!

The person who has my back is . . .

I am out of balance in my relationship with . . .

If I felt (name) had my back then . . .

Take the time to have your own back as well!
