April 5^th: Venus enters Aries at 9:51 am / Mercury enters Taurus at 4:10 pm PDT. Venus departs from the sign of Pisces and arrives in Aries for the next 24 days when she steps into the sign of Taurus. Transiting Mercury arrives in Taurus later in the afternoon for a 23 day journey before stationing retrograde on April 28^th at 10:20 am PDT.

April 7^th: New Moon in Aries at 4:24 am PDT. The first New Moon of Spring arrives in the sign of Aries at 18 deg 4 min in a square aspect within 1 degree to transiting Pluto in Capricorn, and a conjunction to Uranus in Aries within 1 degree. When closely combined, these three aspects could produce their own unique fireworks.

April 17^th: Mars stations retrograde in Sagittarius 5:14 am PDT. The planet Mars reverses direction in the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius at 8 deg 54 min within one day prior to Pluto’s retrograde.

April 18^th: Pluto stations retrograde in Capricorn at 12:23 am PDT. Pluto makes its annual retrograde at 17 deg 29 min in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn through September 26^th.

April 19^th: Sun enters Taurus at 8:30 am PDT. The Sun arrives in the fixed earth sign of Taurus in preparation for planting seeds in the earth’s fertile soil as Venus in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn.

April 21^st: Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus at 10:23 pm PDT. The 2016 Wesak Festival Full Moon at 2 deg 30 min shines brightly with its annual ritual for preparing the ground for an abundant autumn harvest.

April 28^th: Mercury stations retrograde at 10:20 am PDT. Mercury completes the month of April as it begins its second 2016 retrograde cycle at 23 deg 37 min in the sign of Taurus. The month of April concludes with five planets in retrograde: Mercury in Taurus, Mars in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Virgo, Saturn in Sagittarius, and Pluto in Capricorn.

April 29^th: Venus enters Taurus at 5:36 pm PDT. Lady Venus arrives in her own sign of Taurus just in time for celebrating her “May Day” appearance gracing the Earth with her fertile nature.

May 3rd: Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus at 8:42 pm PDT. The Full Moon of May arrives in the watery depths of the sign of Scorpio at 13 deg 23 and is commonly referred to as the “Wesak Moon” of Buddha consciousness.

May 7th: Venus enters Cancer at 3:52 pm PDT. Venus arrives in the water sign of Cancer to assist the Taurus cycle in receiving ample water for the growth all things organic.

May 17^th: New Moon in Taurus at 9:13 pm PDT. The New Moon at 26 deg 56 min in the fixed earth sign of Taurus represents fertility in the final 4 days of the Sun in Taurus.

May 18^th: Mercury stations retrograde in Gemini at 6:50 pm PDT. The messenger planet steps back for the second time this year. Mercury will station direct in Gemini on June 11^th at 3:33 pm at 4 deg 33 min.

May 21^st: Sun enters Gemini at 1:45 am PDT. The Sun emerges from Taurus to fuel the Mercurial sign of Gemini amidst the resistant headwinds of Mercury retrograde through June 11^th.

May 2^nd: Venus enters Aries. Lady Venus arrives in the aggressive cardinal fire sign of Aries in pursuit of spring romance. As she strolls through each degree of Aries between now and May 28^th she will certainly have no shortage of suitors to choose from.

May 7^th: Mercury enters Gemini. The messenger planet celebrates a spring homecoming in its own sign of Gemini. The greatest quandary of Mercury in Gemini is who or what to choose and how long might it last until mercurial Mercury becomes bored and decides to move on?

May 14^th: Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus. The annual Wesak Full Moon of Buddha consciousness reaches it zenith at 12:16 pm PDT. Those with planets or chart angles between 20 to 30 degrees in the fixed signs of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius, or Leo are likely to experience a completion or change of direction in their lives.

May 19^th: Mars turns direct in Libra. Mars steps forward in the sign of Libra for the first time since it retrograded on March 1^st. The past eleven weeks in retrograde have served Mars well, as the warrior planet secured its coveted seat in April’s Cardinal Grand Cross.

May 20^th: The Sun enters Gemini. The Sun’s arrival in the mutable air sign of Gemini ushers in the final month of this spring season preparing the way for the arrival of summer on the June 21^st Solstice.

May 28^th: New Moon in Gemini and Venus enters Taurus. Today’s New Moon in Gemini harmonizes with Mars in Libra while activating mystical Neptune in Pisces. Perhaps we will receive some clues as to what the first nine weeks of this spring season represented to each of us as summer approaches. In the meantime, Venus arrives in Taurus returning to earth after a passionate spring fling in the sign of Aries.

May 29^th: Mercury enters Cancer. Mercury crosses the finish line of its annual homecoming in Gemini to immerse itself in the foreign oceanic depths of Cancer where it will retrograde on June 7^th as it pivots to retrace its steps back to its native sign of Gemini on June 17^th. Ambidextrous Mercury thrives on juggling and testing itself with each of the twelve signs, and it will turn on a dime leaving both its team mates and opponents wondering how Mercury was ever admitted to play in the celestial sports court in the first place.
